Microsoft Dynamics NAV (MDN) is a bespoke computer aided facilities management software package, which has been integrated into all areas of our business. The system provides end to end job management with works issued and updated electronically, via IPad. All works are logged on to the system as are all contract particulars and statutory compliance documentation. MDN then monitors our performance against agreed KPI’s whilst acting as an offsite storage location for all compliance documentation and worksheets. Clients are offered a range of reporting features which can be programmed to monitor certain aspects of our service, at any frequency. Client are also offer direct system access via our web portal offering real time updates on current works and direct access to compliance documentation.

Facilities Management Help Desk

Alba FS is one of only a small number of facilities companies to boast its own dedicated help desk. Alba’s in house facilities helpdesk operates around the clock providing emergency services to our maintenance contract clients, covering all trades.  The helpdesk is often the first point of contact for our clients day to day, working to resolve any client issues efficiently, in a friendly and approachable manor. All helpdesk operatives have direct access to our CAFM Explorer system so can log any works and assign engineers during the call, offering an estimated time of arrival.

Supplier Management

Alba offer a wide range of M&E and building fabric services through a directly employed engineering workforce. There are however instances when tendering building service contracts, where clients wish to retain the services of incumbent specialist single service providers. Alba work to accommodate clients in such instances by managing specialist sub-contractors through a comprehensive supplier approval process. The process reviews each sub-contractor in terms of their quality of workmanship, accreditations, health & safety compliance, environmental compliance, CSR and competitiveness within the marketplace.  Once approved sub-contractors benefit from the potential of additional works on other Alba contracts. Clients benefit for continual reporting on sub-contractor performance and benchmarking of their costs against the competition.
