Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, based Edinburgh

Alba Facilities Services Limited is a facilities services company based in Glasgow providing planned and reactive services as well as quoted work to over 300 clients in the commercial, hospitality and public sectors throughout the Central Belt in Scotland. Due to the continued growth of the company, we are looking for an experienced, full time, permanent Air Conditioning Installation Engineer who is based in Edinburgh.

We realise the importance of a good work life balance and in October we are excited to be trialing a 4-day working week; you will be paid 100% of your salary and benefits for working 80% of the days – a 5 day week becomes a 4 day week on full pay.

Job Details

This is a hands on role which will involve:

  • the installation of all HVAC equipment including Split systems, AHUs and VRV/VRFs and DX systems
    completion of all electronic and paper records in an accurate and timely manner
    working on a mobile basis covering work, throughout Central Scotland and mainly in the East
    working within agreed SLAs to ensure client satisfaction
    ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to
    being part of an on-call rota

Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship, ideally with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • F-Gas qualified
  • Experience of working on AC installations within an FM environment in a mobile role
  • Service experience (desirable, but not essential)
  • 18th Edition (desirable, but not essential)
  • Experience of working in a high-end client environment with face to face client contact
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
